Warrior Games: What It Is and Why It Is So Important for Wounded Veterans

Each year, military athletes from across the country unite at the Warrior Games to compete in an array of adaptive sports.

The Department of Defense (DoD) Warrior Games highlights the physical and mental toughness of the wounded, ill, or injured veterans and service members participating and how competing helps them on their recovery journeys. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is a proud sponsor of the Warrior Games, and many warriors registered with WWP™ are among the competitors."
