How WWP Warriors Are Helping to #CombatStigma … In Their Own Words

When veterans receive the mental health support and empowerment they deserve as they transition to civilian life, they thrive. Part of thriving is feeling they’re ready to continue serving their country after leaving the military – by giving back to their communities and supporting other veterans.

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) gives warriors the opportunity to find new purpose – and many choose to help other veterans as part of their next mission. We asked a few WWP warriors who serve as peer mentors and advocates what they would say to another veteran who is just starting their healing journey. Here is what they said:
