Wounded Warrior Project Discusses Significance of Annual Survey Results

WASHINGTON, Oct. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Wounded Warrior Project^® (WWP) discussed recent findings from its 10th Annual Warrior Survey at The Brookings Institution. This survey is the largest and most comprehensive survey of the physical, social, economic, and mental health needs facing the post-9/11 generation of wounded, ill, and injured veterans. 

Dr. Michael O'Hanlon, Senior Fellow of Foreign Policy at The Brookings Institution, led the panel discussion featuring Dr. Melanie Mousseau, WWP Metrics Director and Jennifer Silva, WWP Chief Program Officer.

The panel focused on the survey's findings, as well as its implications for the veteran community and decision-makers in the executive and legislative branches of government

"These findings shed light on the seriousness of the issues the warriors that are registered with us face," said Mousseau. "They have a number of obstacles to overcome, but the results show they are being overcome and they're moving on to live successful lives."
