Meineke Car Care Centers Round It Forward on Purchases to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project, Offering Free Oil Changes to Veterans on Veterans Day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its 45th anniversary celebrations, Meineke® Car Care Centers have announced a partnership with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).  Customers can visit any of the participating locations across the US to round up their bill to the next dollar with the proceeds to be donated to the WWP in support of the warriors it serves.

Veterans can get a free oil change on Veterans Day, thanks to Maaco and Meineke. They recently announced their support for Wounded Warrior Project.

In addition, veterans and active duty military members who visit any of the 225 participating Meineke locations on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, can get a free oil change.  For participating locations, visit www.Meineke.com.

WWP programs and services assist injured veterans with mental health, physical health and wellness, career and benefits counseling, connecting warriors with one another and their communities, and long-term care for the most seriously wounded.

"Generous donors enable Wounded Warrior Project to serve wounded veterans at no cost," said Gary Corless, WWP chief development officer. "The support of  Meineke will not only provide a practical service to millions of American veterans, but it will allow Wounded Warrior Project to continue to provide the wounded veterans we serve with programs and services that empower them to live their lives to the fullest."

"Meineke has a long history of supporting active duty military members and veterans with special services, offers, and restored vehicles as a thank you for their service," said Danny Rivera, president, Meineke Car Care Centers. "As part of our 45th anniversary, we are honored to work with Wounded Warrior Project and provide assistance for military members in need. Through this campaign, we, along with our customers, are able to help raise funds for those in need of medical treatment, counseling, housing, and other needs."
