As Chief Information Officer for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), Scott Coster provides leadership for the continued advancement of a sustainable, secure, and innovative technology environment throughout the organization. His primary responsibilities encompass a wide variety of IT disciplines-- including IT Operations, Information Security, Technology Architecture, Business Intelligence, Applications Development, Disaster Recovery, and Service Delivery.
Prior to taking his current position, Scott served as Vice President of Information Technology—working through a transformation that focused on workforce strategy, risk mitigation, cyber security, centralization of IT efforts, driving efficiencies through automation and vendor management, maturing the team with the development of IT standards/best practices and the advancement of a digital strategy and roadmap.
Before joining WWP, Scott was an IT executive for CSX Corporation (one of the nation's leading transportation suppliers), where he held leadership positions across a wide variety of IT functions.
Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Information Technology and graduated from Jacksonville University's Executive MBA program. He has also completed advanced studies at the University of Maryland (Business Leadership Program) and Darden Business School (Finance for Executives).
Scott is also a Certified Ethical Hacker.
