Saunter into 2021 with Some Slow Cooker Recipes

As we move forward from the frenzy of the holidays, we find time to refresh and reset. This includes pausing to consider how we're fueling our bodies. With many of us spending extra time at home, it's the perfect chance to try out some slow cooker recipes.

Learn how Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) helps veterans with physical health and wellness.

Slow cooker meals can be a simple way to incorporate healthy foods in your diet. Another benefit is that there’s usually enough food for more than one meal. Leftovers make it easier to eat healthier because the food is already available, and you don’t have to opt for fast food if you’re tired. Slow cooker meals also have easy cleanup, allowing you time to focus your energy elsewhere.

Learn some slow cooker recipe tips and check out a few recipes from a WWP registered dietitian in the January issue of Homeland Magazine.
