President Obama Appoints Linda Garcia Cubero to Key Administration Post

WASHINGTON, DC – Dec. 1, 2016: Today, President Barack Obama announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to key Administration posts:  

  • Dave Ashok Chokshi -- Member, Advisory Group on Prevention, Health Promotion, and Integrative and Public Health

  • Roel C. Campos -- Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy

  • Linda Garcia Cubero -- Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy                                                                                       

  • B. Alvin Drew – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy 

  • Lieutenant General Judith Ann Fedder (Ret.) – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy  

  • General Edward Rice, Jr. – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy  

  • Frederick H. Black, Sr. – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Military Academy 

  • Jane Holl Lute – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Military Academy 

  • Elizabeth Young McNally – Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Military Academy 

  • Mostafa A. El-Sayed – Member, President's Committee on the National Medal of Science

  • Pedro A. Sanchez – Member, President's Committee on the National Medal of Science

  • Peter Altabef – Member, President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee 

  • John Donovan – Member, President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee 

  • Steve Smith – Member, President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee 

  • Jeffrey K. Storey – Member, President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee 

Linda Garcia Cubero, Member, Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy

Linda Garcia Cubero is a Warriors to Work Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project, a position she has held since 2014.  Ms. Cubero was a Consultant at Bradley-Morris from 2012 to 2014.  From 2007 to 2011, Ms. Cubero was the President and Owner of Falcon Cash Investors LLC, and from 2003 to 2006, she worked at Hewlett-Packard as an IT Client Director.  Prior to her career in information technology, Ms. Cubero served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years, separating with the rank of Captain in 1987.  Ms. Cubero received a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
