It Takes Us All | On Thursday, June 1, 2017, Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP)  held its Courage Awards and Benefit Dinner®. It was a time to recognize like-minded organizations that support the WWP mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, but most importantly, to spotlight the continued selflessness of wounded veterans as they connect, serve, and empower fellow service members in their communities. Wounded warrior Sal Gonzalez was the keynote speaker as heartfelt testimonials of challenge and triumph from warriors highlighted the evening. The awards were as follows:
